WELCOME TO
Dr. Goodenowe Community Health
Making breakthrough science, education, and community resources accessible to individuals and communities who need them most.
Building Health from the Ground Up
Dr. Goodenowe Community Health is reimagining what community health can be. Instead of waiting for problems to emerge, we’re building a system focused on understanding your health at the molecular level, removing barriers to advanced diagnostics, and giving you the tools to restore and maintain wellness over the long term.
This isn’t healthcare as usual. It’s a model built on education, access, and empowerment, where cutting-edge science meets hands-on community support. Whether you’re optimizing health, navigating a specific challenge, or supporting a family member, we’re here with resources designed for real people in real situations.
The Moose Jaw Vitality Project: Where It All Comes Together
The MVP is our flagship initiative and the most comprehensive expression of this vision. Every Moose Jaw resident has free access to advanced diagnostics—7T mass spectrometry, 3T brain MRI, comprehensive blood analysis, cardiac and cognitive assessments—alongside personalized nutritional protocols and ongoing support from a multidisciplinary team.
The goal is ambitious: make Moose Jaw the healthiest city in North America, measure what works, and share those insights with communities everywhere. This is a permanent commitment, not a pilot program. We’re building something real, and we’re building it here first.
Removing Barriers
For years, Dr. Goodenowe recognized a problem: the science existed, but the system didn’t. Advanced diagnostics and restorative health protocols were available only to those who could pay out of pocket, and even then, access was fragmented. The real barrier wasn’t the science—it was implementation.
The Community Health initiative solves the access problem. By removing cost barriers and building infrastructure in Moose Jaw first, we’re proving that a different model works: one where advanced health assessment and restoration tools are available to an entire community, not just individuals who can afford them.
Our Initiative supports:
- Programs providing access and resources for underserved families via our charitable programs
- Research and real-world data on biochemical restoration strategies
- Education and training for health providers and community members
- Pilot community programs—such as the Moose Jaw Vitality Project and the ALS Challenge—to model scalable delivery
- Public policy and health system engagement for lasting impact
Support Begins with Community
Communities form around shared experience – families with young children, seniors staying active, people navigating health challenges, neighborhoods building connection.
Whatever brings people together, the principles of community health remain the same:

Engage
No one faces health challenges alone. Join a community where you can learn, share, and belong.

Learn
Access simple, science-based tools that empower you with actionable knowledge.

Act
Apply restorative research with science-based tools and resources available today.

Share
Health is contagious. Lead by example and spread what works.
OUR MISSION
The Dr. Goodenowe Community Health Initiative is building a new model for proactive, community-driven wellness, grounded in science, education, and access.
We believe that long-term health starts with understanding your own biology. By combining advanced biochemical assessment with education and community support, we help individuals and families take informed action early, before decline begins.
Our work spans four areas: research into the biological foundations of healthy aging, educational resources for individuals and health professionals, community wellness programs like the Moose Jaw Vitality Project, and expanded access to plasmalogen-based nutritional support for underserved populations.
We are working to make this approach available to everyone, across every stage of life and in communities of every size.
About Our Founder
Dr. Dayan Goodenowe, PhD, is a neuroscientist, biochemist, and inventor whose research in human biochemistry led to the identification of prodromes: biological changes that precede health decline. His published work on plasmalogens has contributed to a growing body of research into how these essential lipids support cognitive and neurological function. The Initiative is built on that foundation.
Dr. Goodenowe has committed $100 million in funding, products, and infrastructure to launch the Moose Jaw Vitality Project, the Initiative's first full-scale community wellness program. In Moose Jaw, residents have access to advanced biochemical assessments, plasmalogen-based nutritional support, and ongoing education at no cost.
That model is already expanding. Individuals and families in the pediatric rare disease community are receiving plasmalogen-based nutritional support and educational resources at no cost, with plans to extend access to additional communities affected by neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental conditions.
Pilot Programs: Proof in Action

Moose Jaw Vitality Project
Our first full-scale community pilot to enable an entire city to be the healthiest in North America.

ALS Challenge
A Targeted Effort to Deliver support to the ALS Community in Saskatchewan

Rare Childhood Disease Community Giving
Serving families facing devastating pediatric conditions with direct access and support.
The Science
Plasmalogens are essential brain lipids that help support brain function and overall body function.
Research indicates that they play a crucial role in cognition, mobility, and resilience.
