Dr. Goodenowe ALS Challenge
A Targeted Effort to Deliver Hope to the ALS Community in Saskatchewan
Dr. Goodenowe recently launched the ALS Challenge, a focused effort to bring breakthrough restorative health support to individuals living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in Saskatchewan, Canada.
As part of the Dr. Goodenowe Community Health Initiative, this challenge will:
- Provide eligible Saskatchewan residents diagnosed with ALS access to plasmalogen-based protocols and support services
- Gather real-world data on outcomes to strengthen the case for larger trials and public health adoption
- Demonstrate a scalable model of donor-supported care access for neurodegenerative diseases
- Build collaborative partnerships with local nonprofit groups and health advocates in the region
The ALS Challenge is not a study — it is a real-world health initiative designed to serve people today while laying the groundwork for expanded care access tomorrow. By focusing on one province, we can deeply engage with families, track meaningful impact, and refine our delivery model for future replication.
This is just the beginning — and your support can help extend this challenge to more communities in need.
