Rare Childhood Disease Community Giving
From the very beginning, Dr. Goodenowe’s work has been rooted in serving the most vulnerable. Our earliest giving has focused on families facing rare childhood diseases such as Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata (RCDP), Leukodystrophy, and other devastating conditions with limited treatment options.
Through direct donations of product, services, and community engagement, we have supported children and families who are navigating unimaginable challenges. By offering plasmalogen precursors, educational resources, and ongoing connection, we’ve sought to bring both measurable improvements in health and a sense of hope.
This community-centered giving continues to serve as a cornerstone of our mission, demonstrating the profound impact that restorative health can have when families are given access to tools once out of reach.
Program offerings include:
- Imaging and advanced lab services
- Nutritional counselling and health education
- Community health visits and ongoing biomarker monitoring
- Access to plasmalogen precursors and other targeted nutritional products
- The Engage Café, a space to enjoy healthy food and build community
In addition to direct health services,
the Moose Jaw campus includes:
- A Community Health Information Center
- A Community Research Hub
- A Chemistry and Manufacturing Facility
Real stories of the life changing impact of plasmalogens
Dr. Dayan Goodenowe’s research into plasmalogen deficiencies is opening new doors for families affected by RCDP. Through plasmalogen restoration, children are showing meaningful day-to-day improvements that uplift both health and quality of life.
